VYSRE Safety

Designed with your well-being in mind

Utilizing a low-intensity electrical current, user safety is of the utmost importance.

Is the VYSRE device safe?

Because the VYSRE device utilizes a low-intensity electrical current, user safety is of the utmost importance. Each session implements 1/100th of the current that your body can withstand. To put this in perspective, if you were to stand in salt water, which is highly conductive, with bare feet to provide excellent contact to electricity, your body could reasonably safely withstand 10 volts; a VYBE is .01 of a volt. Furthermore, your session VYBE is about 15-20 minutes, which is a safe time to receive brain stimulation.

As an added safety measure, our engineers have designed redundant fail-safes and active session monitoring to ensure stimulation is within acceptable parameters. Several self-stop features are included to shut off stimulation if a loss of connection is sensed with your head.

What will my VYBE stimulation feel like?

You may feel a slight itching or tingle at the location of the stimulation nodes. Studies show that any given tES device in clinical applications, such as treating depression and anxiety, may produce some mild and transient fatigue or sleepiness, minor headaches and dizziness if overused or used incorrectly. VYSRE was built to minimize those concerns by building software and hardware safeguards to prevent long-standing continuous use.
